Terraria can't launch. Steam says it is running then after 10 seconds it just stops. No error messag

I have Windows 10 and have been playing Terraria for about a month. I have had no issues, before now. i changed nothing but when i try to launch terraria it wont start. if i launch through steam, behind "terraria" it says running, then after 10 seconds it stops and nothing happens. if i try to launch the .exe nothing happes at all.
i tried making terraria run as administrator with no luck. i have obviusly tried turning on and off several times. i have uninstalled but i am unsure weather or...
