In the past there were no issues at all concerning servers, not only with Terraria, but any piece of software in general.
Now none of my friends can connect to my servers, be it Terraria, some other game, or things such as TeamSpeak.
My local IP is static, it is used in the port opening page of the router accessed through the browser. I open the port/s there and provide my friends with the external IP address, they always respond with a claim that they cannot connect.
