Terraria Not Detecting My AMD Graphics Card

Hello, today I bought Terraria on Steam for my laptop. As the title says, Terraria is for some reason unable to detect my AMD Graphics Card.

The laptop does have the "Switchable Graphics" feature that is found in most laptops, and the two graphics cards are:

• AMD Radeon HD 8500M
• Intel(R) HD Graphics Family

The problem with the Intel Graphics card is that it's forcing Terraria to stay locked at 40fps and doesn't go beyond that, so I want to use the AMD Graphics card to...
